I read this…at first i was stunned by the irony, then sad because this is the reality, and now i am just pissed off. so here are my angry cents: obama issue an executive order to end “don’t ask don’t tell” NOW. i have no patience or understanding for an institution that claims to fight for the equal rights of others while denying equal rights to those doing the fighting nor can i be convinced a military that plans elaborate strategic operations can’t handle integrating their ranks, offices, and institutions. give me a fucking break if the american military complex can’t survive equality and integration (forced or otherwise) then let that be another reason for us to bring our troops home, end our occupations, and decrease the size of the military budget.
